the crystal lamp
Throughout her career I have been working with colours and light as healing tools. Since graduating from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2008, I have been toying with the idea of designing a crystal lamp.
The first edition of this design was developed as part of an installation commissioned by the Danish Arts Council, to create a comforting atmosphere in a counselling room at Odense University Hospital.
The metal parts for the lamp are produced locally at N.H. Steel WaterCut, and the elegant and sustainable packaging is made at Bruunshaab Gamle Papfabrik.
The lamp is assembled with great care, and each piece of quartz is selected especially and mounted by me, hoping that the lamp will bring you joy.
