space peace now

Space peace is a performance project in which I, using various media, try to point to the, in myview, problematic use of and danger for colonization, exploitation and pollution of space.

The “space activism” initiatives include the production of t-shirts and posters, vacuum packed peace flags ready to take on a journey into space, and performative documentation of fictional characters meeting to agree on global rules (“the 2019 space peace laws”) for how to treat space. This was done, since a global set of rules and agreement does not exist, which means that the fastest, richest and strongest can do as he pleases in space. This last part of the project was made during a stay at “country town” in Jutland, referring to the “wild west” attitude towards space, of some male, domineering figures on the political stage today.
