Here and There

This line of work was produced during my maternity leave, which happened to be in the time of covid lockdown.

Here I toy with the idea of existing here and now, as a human in everyday life, and the soul as an eternal being. In a time when your world is narrowing down, this dualistic sense can both hold a feeling of sadness and longing and can create a happy escape / bring you up on a higher level.

The works are snapshots from my everyday life and painted with acrylic paint.
