Throne For Female

This series springs from research into the lack of female representation in the Protestant Church.

How did I not see this before? Suddenly the un-presence is so intense, so eye-catching. What happened? Why did she disappear, the divine goddess, the heavenly queen? No wonder, I never felt quite comfortable, able to feel at home in the modern church. There is nothing mirroring me. On the contrary. The distorted story of women as unclean and sinful, just by the nature of her sex, lies as a burdensome and dangerous inheritance, silencing me, making me scared to speak.

How to bring back the female into this space that ought to be for all of us. How to conjure a seat for her, to be able to return?
